We sometimes forget, though, that owners wish to get an erotic charge from looking at their possessions, and often a strategically placed scrap of cloth can produce an excitement that total nudity cannot. This is well illustrated here - the usual bare buttocks are not as enticing as the way in which the tiny shorts reveal and conceal. And the slave’s thighs are somehow more exotic when seen this way.
